The sample dashboard below (Sample002) shows a simple list of my pensions, assuming they can all be digitally found. Click or tap each pension to expand it for details.
Sample002 is exactly the same as Sample001 except for the order in which the pensions are displayed: Sample002 is in start date order.
The correct start date may not always be available, however. And the interaction of start date order with multiple pensions in the same scheme may need to be considered.
These complexities are discussed below the dashboard.

Discussion topics
In the Sample dashboard above, my pensions are shown sorted by the date each pension started to be built up (earliest first).
When you expand each pension above, you’ll see I’ve added “Date the pension started to build up:”
This is quite a natural and intuitive display order. But there are some complexities to be considered:
1) Missing / Incorrect start dates
Schemes / providers may not always hold a start date, or they may not hold the correct start date.
What should happen in this circumstance? Should any pensions returned which don’t have a start date just be shown at the bottom? (possibly with a comment along the line of: “We don’t know when this pension started to build up”). Would this be confusing for users? This should be tested.
2) Interaction with multiple pensions
My two PSPS pensions are next to each other in chronological order. But suppose I had been in another scheme in between. There would then be two PSPS pensions in the list, but not next to each other. Will this be understandable for users? This should be tested.
Should the display order be user-definable?
In Sample001 and Sample002 we’ve considered two possible display orders: alpha and chronological respectively.
But maybe there are other display orders which would be more helpful for users? And maybe the user should be able to choose which of these different order they would prefer their pensions to displayed in?
This could offer good flexibility for users but could also present some problems. See Sample003 for a discussion about this.
